Seta’s Transgender Support Center offers its services to all trans and intersex persons, to those pondering their gender and to the close ones of any such persons. Trans Support Center also offers consultation to professionals. We are located at Seta’s office in Pasila (Pasilanraitio 5, 2nd floor). All services offered by the Trans Support Center, including peer support group meetings and different forms of counseling, are strictly confidential. The groups function mainly in Finnish but individual consultation is available in English to some extent. The services are free of charge.
HeSeta (Helsinki regional member organisation of Seta) organizes dozens of open peer groups for conversation and different activities. Peer groups are directed by volunteers. There are also private, closed groups that take new members once or twice a year. Peer groups offer a safe and substance-free environment where you can be yourself and get to know new people. You can share your experiences among other group members in a secure atmosphere. New group for foregners and refugees is available in the end of October 2015.
